About This Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Director of Supply Chain Procurement IT to lead our procurement initiatives. In this role, you will provide strategic direction and leadership in all aspects of procurement, including digital transformation, stakeholder management, and operational excellence.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute comprehensive procurement strategies aligned with organizational goals.
  • Oversee the implementation of innovative technologies to optimize procurement processes and enhance efficiency.
  • Lead a team of procurement professionals in various functions, including sourcing, negotiation, contract management, and vendor relationship management.
  • Manage large and complex procurement projects, ensuring timely completion and adherence to budget constraints.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.
  • Stay abreast of industry best practices and emerging trends in supply chain management and procurement.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant policies, regulations, and ethical standards.
Qualifications:
  • 10+ years of progressive experience in procurement, with a proven track record of success in leading teams and driving strategic initiatives.
  • Experience in the public sector is highly desirable.
  • Strong understanding of vendor negotiations, contract management, and risk mitigation strategies.
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Supply Chain Management certification (e.g., CSCP) is an asset.
