Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide strategic leadership and direction to the Supply Chain team in developing and implementing procurement strategies that align with Ontario Health's business objectives.
  • Lead the planning, execution, and monitoring of complex procurement projects, ensuring compliance with procurement policies and procedures.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders, including senior leadership, to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements that enhance procurement efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Manage and develop a team of procurement professionals, providing coaching, mentoring, and performance management to ensure high levels of performance and engagement.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and regulatory requirements to ensure Ontario Health's procurement function remains competitive and compliant.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in procurement, with a minimum of 5 years in a leadership or management role.
  • Proven track record of delivering strategic procurement solutions that drive value and efficiency.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a high-performing team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex data and develop effective solutions.
