We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Human Resources Officer to join our team at A&M Canadian Immigration Law Corporation. As a key member of our HR department, you will be responsible for providing strategic support to our management team and ensuring that our organization's HR policies and procedures are implemented effectively.
Key Responsibilities- Staffing and Recruitment: Identify current and prospective staffing requirements, prepare and post notices and advertisements, collect and screen applicants, and advise job applicants on employment requirements and terms and conditions of employment.
- Employee Relations: Administer staff consultation and grievance procedures, provide information or services such as employee assistance and counselling, and negotiate settlements of appeals and disputes.
- HR Administration: Supervise personnel clerks performing filing, typing, and record-keeping duties, and determine eligibility to entitlements and arrange staff training.
- Technology and Data Analysis: Utilize Workday, MS Windows, Oracle, data analysis software, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, and MS Word to manage HR data and perform analysis.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in HR, staffing, and recruitment, with a strong background in employee relations and HR administration.
- Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to multitask, and strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
This is a permanent, full-time position with a fast-paced environment and tight deadlines. The successful candidate will be required to work in a team environment and demonstrate a high level of adaptability and flexibility.
