About the Role

Wildanet Limited is seeking a highly skilled Core Network Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our network operations team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality network services to our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, deploy, and operate core network infrastructure, ensuring alignment with project timelines and technical specifications.
  • Develop and maintain automation scripts to streamline deployment processes, configuration management, and routine network operations tasks.
  • Oversee the full lifecycle management of network devices, including software upgrades, hardware refreshes, and decommissioning, ensuring minimal disruption to services.
  • Perform regular vulnerability assessments and implement necessary patches and updates to safeguard the network against security threats.
  • Identify and execute continuous improvement initiatives to enhance network performance, reliability, and capacity as subscriber numbers grow.
  • Engage in proactive monitoring and reactive troubleshooting to resolve network faults, minimizing downtime and maintaining high service levels.
Requirements
  • 5 years minimum experience in a networking environment.
  • Experience working in a customer-facing environment.
  • Experience within an ISP network is desirable.
  • Juniper JunOS, Cisco iOS, FortiOS, BGP, OSPF/ISIS, IPv6, Linux, and Windows are essential skills.
  • Python and Ansible are desirable skills.
