About the Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Engineer to join our Land Development and Municipal Engineering Team in Kingston, Ontario. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for executing and reviewing various storm, water, and wastewater design tasks, including site servicing and feasibility studies, stormwater management, and grading design.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and review of municipal and land development projects, including roads, highways, site servicing, and stormwater management;
  • Collaboration with architects, contractors, and clients to design infrastructure that supports community growth;
  • Review of project plans and site conditions to ensure compliance with zoning laws and applicable regulations;
  • Business development and proposal response;
  • Project management and coordination with multiple disciplines;
  • Mentorship of engineering graduates and technologists.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or equivalent;
  • Registered as a P.Eng. in Ontario;
  • 3+ years of experience in land development and municipal engineering;
  • Design knowledge of roads and highways, site servicing, and stormwater management;
  • Industry knowledge to competently respond to proposal requests;
  • Working knowledge of AutoCAD Civil 3D and other software design tools.
