Network Operations Centre

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Network Operations Centre (NOC) Engineer to join our team at Breath HR. As a NOC Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our IT infrastructure and providing exceptional technical support to our clients.
Key Responsibilities- IT Infrastructure Management: Manage and maintain our monitoring systems, ensuring the status and performance of our internal network services, client-managed services, and locations are always up-to-date.
- Fault Handling and Escalation: Identify and respond to faults on systems and networks, liaise with 3rd party suppliers, and handle escalation through to resolution.
- Provisioning: Configure and provision Teamviewer and Pulseway profiles, leased lines network configurations, 3CX telephony provisioning, customer backup provisioning and deployment, and Bitdefender and Sophos endpoint provisioning.
- Server and Network Administration: Build and install servers, workstations, and laptops, upgrade applications, and maintain hardware asset audits.
- Infrastructure Maintenance: Perform proactive and reactive monitoring and management of internal and client equipment, including capacity and performance metrics.
- Documentation and Knowledge Management: Maintain WIKI and technical documentation of processes and procedures used throughout normal operations.
- Cloud and Telephony Support: Provide support for cloud-hosted solutions, internet services, and telephony services.
- Disaster Recovery: Participate in disaster recovery activities, including executing system failover scripts.
- Teamwork and Communication: Support the team and clients with unusual/high-level issues, escalate issues to the Operations Manager as needed.
- Technical Experience: A minimum of months experience in a Technical Support or similar role.
- Communication Skills: Great communication skills, founded in being a good listener.
- Technical Skills: Basic Linux CLI skills, basic sysadmin skills.
- Teamwork and Adaptability: Work well in a busy team, being quick to learn and able to deal with a wide range of issues.
- Analytical Skills: Strong analytical skills and able to collate and interpret data from various sources.
- Problem-Solving: Ability to assess and prioritise faults and respond or escalate accordingly.
- Client Focus: A deep desire to deliver an amazing client experience.
- UK Driving Licence: A valid UK driving licence.
- Language Skills: The ability to speak both technical and human.
- Ticketing System Experience: Experience using a ticketing system.
- Problem-Solving and Planning: An ability to think and plan.
- Technical Service Ticket Handling: Experience handling technical service tickets.
- Client Experience Certifications: Client experience certifications such as Helpdesk Habits etc.
- Managed Service Provider Experience: Experience working for a Managed Service Provider (MSP) or IT Support Business.
