President and Chief Executive Officer

ThryvX™ is seeking a visionary leader to serve as President and Chief Executive Officer. As the chief representative of the organization, you will be responsible for leading the team in a positive, creative, and efficient work environment that rewards excellence.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead the team in achieving the objectives of the Board and executing Board directives
- Report to the Board on staff performance issues and HR matters as required
- Provide oversight on the Reconciliation Action Plan for the organization
- Comply with organizational governance and be familiar with ThryvX™'s bylaws, policies, and procedures
- Maintain liaison with provincial and federal government departments
- Act as a public/media spokesperson for ThryvX™ on public policy positions approved by the Board
- A post-secondary degree/diploma in a relevant field or equivalent
- Demonstrated ability to create a positive, creative, and efficient work environment
- Ability to manage numerous projects, prioritize objectives, and meet deadlines
- Extensive Canadian experience, ideally in the nuclear or energy sector
- Understanding of Board Governance
- Strong understanding of provincial and federal government roles in the nuclear industry
- Ability to communicate effectively about nuclear energy to domestic and offshore audiences
- Effective networker with established networks in relevant organizations
