Position Overview

The Clinical Laboratory Specialist is accountable for executing all responsibilities within the Biochemistry, Hematology, and Transfusion Medicine sectors.

Qualifications

  • Valid registration with the College of Medical Laboratory Technologists of Ontario
  • Recent experience of 3 - 5 years in a core laboratory setting.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of Biochemistry, Hematology, and Transfusion Medicine.
  • Proficient with standard automated laboratory equipment.
  • Willingness to provide coverage at various sites as operational needs arise.
  • Capability to function effectively as a cooperative team member.
  • Ability to work autonomously during off-peak hours.
  • A positive demeanor with exceptional interpersonal and communication abilities.
  • Proficient in reading, writing, speaking, and understanding English.
  • Must meet the physical demands associated with the role.
  • Strong employment and attendance history required.
Additional Information

Work Schedule: Flexible hours including Days, Evenings, and Nights.

Compensation: $46.32 per hour
