About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated Farm Insurance Producer to enhance our agricultural lines division. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional service to our clients by utilizing their industry expertise to foster and cultivate new partnerships for our Farm team.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and establish a robust pipeline of quality Farm business leads through referrals and various prospecting methods.
- Collaborate with commercial lines underwriting staff to develop submissions that address the current and future needs of clients, ultimately closing sales.
- When necessary, transition service responsibilities to the appropriate Account Manager within the service teams.
- Field customer service inquiries post-sale, ensuring they are addressed either personally or through referral to a Client Manager.
- Actively engage in team meetings pertinent to the role.
Qualifications
- Valid RIBO License or ability to obtain within 2 months required.
- Typically, 3+ years of experience in business-to-consumer or business sales, preferably in the Insurance sector.
- Strong understanding of risks associated with Farm Business, including livestock, equine, cash crops, and property valuations.
- A passion for sales and a commitment to delivering an outstanding client experience.
- Self-motivated with excellent analytical, organizational, and prioritization skills, paying close attention to detail.
- Exceptional interpersonal, verbal, and written communication abilities.
- A collaborative team player capable of adapting to and working with various internal and external stakeholders.
- Experience with Epic is a plus.
- Proficient in MS Office applications.
