Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate closely with Gameplay Designers to ensure seamless integration and a cohesive overall gameplay experience.
  • Develop comprehensive design documents that clearly articulate your vision and contribute to the project's success.
  • Implement your designs within Unreal Engine 5, bringing your creative ideas to life.
  • Work hand-in-hand with other design teams to elevate the player experience and create a truly memorable gaming journey.
  • Actively participate in reviews of game design goals, offering valuable insights and suggestions for improvement.
  • Mentor junior designers, fostering a collaborative and supportive environment within the team.
  • Leverage both qualitative and quantitative data to refine designs and ensure they meet player expectations.

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of proven experience in game development.
  • A strong understanding of world systems, player interactions, and gameplay mechanics.
  • Familiarity with advanced game engines such as Unreal Engine and Unity.
  • Hands-on experience implementing features and content within a game engine environment.
  • In-depth knowledge of current trends and best practices in action games and RPGs.
