Game System Designer

As a Game Designer at Ubisoft Entertainment, you will be responsible for creating engaging game systems and mechanics that provide players with unique experiences and opportunities for meaningful choices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create game systems that meet the needs of the Creative Director and align with the production directives of the game.
- Standardize, document, and communicate game systems to the team, ensuring that all team members have a clear understanding of the game's mechanics.
- Participate in the production of prototypes to adjust and validate systems before starting production, using quantitative and qualitative measurement techniques to assess success.
- Collaborate with the Game Design Director to work on various aspects of game design, using the proper methods to provide accurate and meaningful designs.
- Develop tools required to implement and adjust game systems, working closely with programming to determine the game design needs of such systems.
Requirements:
- College diploma in Game Design or equivalent (undergraduate degree an asset)
- At least 3 years of experience in video game design or related experience (having worked on a AAA game, an asset)
- Experience using professional game-editing software (Unity3D, Unreal, CryEngine, etc.) and their related scripting tools
- Shipped at least one AAA game and been involved in all phases of development
- Adaptable and open to whatever realities playtests may uncover about your work
- Creative and thirsty for innovation
