Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Administrative Support Professional to join our team at Alberta Health Services. As an Administrative Support V, you will play a key role in supporting our diverse team and enabling quality care in the provincial Emergency Medical Services (EMS) system.

Requirements
  • Post-secondary education in office or business administration
  • 3+ years of administrative experience in a health, municipal, or public safety environment
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, Access, Teams)
  • Computer experience including Zoom and Microsoft Edge
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision and prioritize effectively
  • Excellent organizational and decision-making skills
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to multitask
  • Ability to take initiative and handle a variety of assignments with attention to detail
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to understand and communicate effectively in both writing and verbally in English
Preferred Qualifications
  • Familiarity with AHS policies and procedures
  • Experience with AHS time-entry using e-People and financial coding of invoices using the MarkView application
