Job Title: Food Service Supervisor

JAG 'N SUGAR RESTAURANTS INC. is seeking a skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team.

Job Summary:

The Food Service Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our food service department, ensuring that food and service meet quality control standards, and supervising and coordinating the activities of staff who prepare and portion food.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Establish methods to meet work schedules and ensure that food and service meet quality control standards.
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, including training staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures.
  • Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation and ensure that they are ordered and received in a timely manner.
  • Hire and train food service staff to meet the needs of our restaurant.
  • Address customer complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Prepare and submit reports on food service operations and sales.
  • Supervise and check the assembly of trays and delivery of food trolleys to ensure that they meet quality standards.
  • Establish work schedules and ensure that staff are aware of their responsibilities and deadlines.

  • Work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
  • Ability to lift and move heavy objects and stand for long periods of time.
