Job Summary

JAG 'N SUGAR RESTAURANTS INC. is seeking a skilled Food Service Supervisor to oversee the daily operations of our restaurant. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring exceptional customer service, maintaining high food quality standards, and leading a team of staff to achieve our goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Supervision: Supervise and co-ordinate activities of staff who prepare and portion food, train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, and establish methods to meet work schedules.
  • Customer Service: Address customers' complaints or concerns and ensure that food and service meet quality control standards.
  • Operations Management: Prepare budget and cost estimates, maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, and prepare and submit reports.
  • Team Management: Supervise and check assembly of trays, establish work schedules, and maintain a fast-paced environment.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years.
  • Work Environment: Noisy, fast-paced environment, and combination of sitting, standing, walking, and standing for extended periods.
  • Personal Suitability: Client focus, efficient interpersonal skills, flexibility, team player, and dependability.
Work Conditions
  • Work under pressure.
  • Work in a restaurant setting.
