About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Food Service Attendant to join our team at 2649476 Ontario Inc. as a key member of our dining room staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Food Preparation and Service
    • Prepare, heat, and finish simple food items to meet customer demands.
    • Portion and wrap foods according to established standards.
    • Serve customers at counters or buffet tables with a smile.
  • Cleaning and Sanitation
    • Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, utensils, and work surfaces.
    • Operate dishwashers to wash dishes, glassware, and flatware.
    • Sanitize and wash dishes and other items by hand.
  • Inventory and Supply Management
    • Receive, unpack, and store supplies in refrigerators, freezers, cupboards, and other storage areas.
    • Restock refrigerators and salad bars as needed.
  • Customer Service
    • Take customers' orders and respond to their needs in a timely and professional manner.
    • Handle customer complaints and resolve issues promptly.
  • Teamwork and Communication
    • Work collaboratively with kitchen staff, servers, and other team members to ensure seamless service.
    • Communicate effectively with customers, colleagues, and management.
Requirements
  • Education
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience
    • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service environment.
  • Skills
    • Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
    • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
    • Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and handle heavy loads.
Working Conditions

This is a permanent, full-time position with a 35-hour workweek. The work environment is fast-paced and physically demanding, requiring attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure.
