About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Customer Project Manager to join our team at Geotab. As a key member of our organization, you will play a vital role in driving the success of strategic customer-facing projects, ensuring timely and effective delivery of product pilots and implementations to drive greater product adoption across key industry segments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee the planning, execution, and successful completion of projects focused on optimizing a premier customer experience.
  • Serve as the main point of contact for customers and senior management for the project.
  • Support all aspects of the implementation and progression of assigned projects, from original concept through project closure activities.
  • Provide leadership to the project team by building and motivating team members to meet project goals and adhere to their responsibilities and project milestones.
  • Define project goals and deliverables that align with the company's strategic objectives and customer expectations.
  • Define high-level work plans, key project tasks and deliverables, and manage the integration of resources and knowledge across projects and tasks.
  • Manage project issues, risks, and changes in scope to mitigate impact to customer experience and critical path deliverables.
  • Provide status reporting regarding project milestones, deliverables, dependencies, risks and issues — communicating across leadership.
  • Participate in establishing best practices, templates, policies, tools and partnerships to expand and mature these capabilities for the organization.
  • Collect customer feedback and lessons learned to continuously improve project management processes & best practices.
  • Coach, mentor and motivate more junior Project Managers.
Requirements
  • 5-8 years of experience in Project Management.
  • 5-8 years of experience working with business stakeholders within a cross-functional matrix environment.
  • Strong leadership, diplomatic and motivational skills.
  • Ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment.
  • Self-motivated and decisive with the ability to adapt to change.
  • Experience within a technical or engineering organization is an asset.
  • Professional Project Management (PMP) certification required.
