YOUR NEXT OPPORTUNITY
As a key member of the Maintenance Department, reporting directly to the Mobile Maintenance General Supervisor, you will oversee a dedicated maintenance team. Your primary responsibility will be to uphold exceptional maintenance standards through effective preventive, corrective, and modification practices. You will play a vital role in executing and monitoring maintenance tasks while ensuring that all objectives align with Agnico Eagle's core values, Health & Safety Code of Conduct, and environmental stewardship.
- Lead a diverse maintenance team, fostering collaboration and efficiency;
- Assess work order requests in conjunction with the General Supervisor and organize weekly tasks based on urgency and scheduled priorities;
- Guarantee that preventive and corrective maintenance activities are conducted effectively and within designated timelines;
- Ensure adherence to company health, safety, and environmental regulations throughout all procedures;
- Confirm the appropriate procedures are followed prior to action, clearly communicating these to your team;
- Analyze key performance indicators (KPIs), implement necessary corrective actions, and relay these to the team;
- Utilize the principles and practices of effective supervision;
- Demonstrate best operational practices through leadership and daily activities;
- Facilitate smooth information transfer between shifts.
QUALIFICATIONS FOR SUCCESS
- Certification as a Maintenance Technician/Technologist or equivalent experience, including completion of a college maintenance program;
- An engineering degree is considered a valuable asset;
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in maintenance within mining operations;
- Familiarity with maintenance planning software, such as JDE, is advantageous;
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to lead and collaborate effectively;
- Excellent organizational skills, problem-solving capabilities, and knowledge of maintenance terminology;
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
