About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Administrative Clerk to join our team at the Prince George Regional Correctional Centre. As an Administrative Clerk, you will play a vital role in supporting the delivery of mental health services to clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Schedule and book client appointments, ensuring that all necessary arrangements are made and clinicians are notified.
  • Register and admit clients into our system, ensuring that all demographic information is complete and accurate.
  • Perform referral functions, including data entry, sending out client questionnaires, and processing related paperwork.
  • Maintain accurate records, including data entry, collating information, and maintaining log sheets.
  • Provide administrative support, including typing and distributing technical and non-technical material.
Requirements
  • Grade 12, plus two years' recent experience, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
  • Ability to keyboard 40 wpm, knowledge of medical terminology, and ability to communicate effectively.
  • Ability to deal with others effectively, organize, and operate related equipment.
  • Awareness of and commitment to learning and understanding the Truth & Reconciliation Commission's 94 Calls to Action.
