We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Personal Support Worker to join our team at Radiant Care Pleasant Manor. As a Personal Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our residents, ensuring their physical, social, and emotional well-being.

Job Summary:

This is a part-time, permanent position that requires a 30-hour workweek. The successful candidate will work in a dynamic and supportive environment, providing personal care and support to residents in a long-term care setting.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide safe and efficient personal care for residents, including activities of daily living.
  • Effectively communicate with residents, staff, and families to ensure excellent customer service.
  • Provide individualized service in a home-like setting, adapting to changing needs of residents.
  • Observe and report changes in resident status, recording necessary data on resident health and provision of service.
  • Work co-operatively with team members, receiving direction from registered staff and participating in quality improvement activities.
Requirements:
  • Training and education in caring for seniors in long-term care.
  • Demonstrated experience in caring for seniors in long-term care.
  • Current CPR Certification an asset.
  • Valid PSW Certification.
