Job Title: Personal Support Worker

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Personal Support Worker to join our team at Manuel Umoquit. As a Personal Support Worker, you will provide high-quality care and support to our clients, enabling them to maintain their independence and dignity.

Job Summary:
  • Provide personal care and support to clients, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
  • Assist clients with daily living activities, such as meal preparation, medication management, and light housekeeping.
  • Support clients with mobility and transfer needs, including walking, transferring, and positioning.
  • Provide companionship and social interaction to clients, promoting their emotional well-being and quality of life.
  • Work collaboratively with healthcare professionals and other support staff to ensure comprehensive care and support.
Requirements:
  • Geriatric Certificate
  • CPR Certificate
  • First Aid Certificate
  • Personal Support Worker Certificate
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to lift up to 45 kg (100 lbs) and perform physical demands of the job
