Job Title: Personal Support Worker

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Personal Support Worker to join our team at Manuel Umoquit. As a Personal Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our clients, enabling them to maintain their independence and quality of life.

Job Summary:
  • Provide personal care and support to clients, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
  • Assist clients with daily living activities, such as meal preparation, light housekeeping, and laundry.
  • Administer medications and provide wound care as required.
  • Assist clients with mobility and transfer activities, such as walking and using the bathroom.
  • Provide companionship and social support to clients, engaging them in activities and promoting their mental and emotional well-being.
Requirements:
  • Geriatric Certificate
  • CPR Certificate
  • First Aid Certificate
  • Personal Support Worker Certificate
  • 1-7 months of experience in a related field
  • College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 3 months to less than 1 year
Work Environment:
  • Non-smoking environment
  • Room and board provided
  • Work in employer's/client's home
