Job Title: Retrofit Program Coordinator

The Regional District of Kootenay Boundary is seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to fill the position of Retrofit Program Coordinator. This is a 2-year contract position designed to support the implementation of our low carbon resilient retrofit program, which focuses on improving the energy efficiency, climate-resiliency, and climate preparedness of homes in the Regional District.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Work closely with the Senior Energy Advisor to develop and implement the retrofit program
  • Provide guidance and support to residents through their energy and resiliency retrofit journey
  • Ensure residents are aware of the services, systems, and supports available to them
  • Connect residents with information, resources, and assessments
  • Provide excellent customer service skills to promote uptake and implementation of the retrofit program
Requirements:
  • Degree or diploma in energy, climate action, building science, environmental, or engineering
  • 3-5 years' experience in climate resilience and energy initiatives, project coordination, and customer service
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Considerable experience in program development and implementation
  • Valid BC Class 5 Driver's License
