Selkirk College is seeking a dedicated instructor to engage students in the study of wildlife ecology and environmental management. The successful applicant will facilitate in-person classes covering essential topics such as Introductory Wildlife Ecology and Ecosystem-Based Management. Key responsibilities include instructional delivery, curriculum development, and active participation in the academic community.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct courses on wildlife ecology and environmental management, incorporating both fieldwork and classroom instruction.
- Adhere to safety protocols during field activities.

Educational Background and Experience
- Master's degree in Wildlife Ecology or a related discipline.

- Relevant industry experience in wildlife is advantageous.
- Experience working with indigenous communities is preferred.
- Registration as a Professional Biologist is a plus.
- Possession of a valid driver's license.
This role is a part-time replacement position with compensation and benefits aligned with the College Faculty Association Collective Agreement.
