Job Title: Food Service Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at 2467980 Ontario Inc. as a key member of our food service operations.

Job Summary:

The Food Service Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our food service department, ensuring that all food and service meet quality control standards. This includes supervising and coordinating the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, training staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, and maintaining records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Establish methods to meet work schedules and ensure efficient food preparation and service.
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of food service staff, including food preparers and counter attendants.
  • Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures to maintain a high level of quality and customer satisfaction.
  • Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage to inform budgeting and inventory decisions.
  • Prepare and submit reports on food service operations, including sales, customer feedback, and staff performance.
  • Collaborate with the culinary team to ensure that food and service meet quality control standards.
  • Address customer complaints or concerns in a professional and timely manner.
Requirements:
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a food service supervisory role.
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
  • Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and perform manual tasks.
Working Conditions:

The Food Service Supervisor will work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and will be required to stand for extended periods and perform manual tasks.

Language:

The primary language of work is English.

Work Schedule:

The work schedule is 37.5 hours per week.
