Job Title: Food Service Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Service Manager to join our team at 2467980 Ontario Inc.

Job Summary:

The Food Service Manager will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our food service department, ensuring that all food and service meet quality control standards. This includes managing inventory, supervising staff, and maintaining records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Organize and maintain inventory of food, supplies, and equipment
  • Supervise and co-ordinate activities of staff who prepare and portion food
  • Ensure health and safety regulations are followed
  • Address customers' complaints or concerns
  • Provide customer service
  • Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures
  • Prepare food order summaries for the chef
  • Prepare and submit reports
  • Establish methods to meet work schedules
  • Establish work schedules
  • Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation
  • Plan, organize, direct, control, and evaluate daily operations
Requirements:
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in food service management
  • Permanent employment
  • English as the primary language of work
  • 32 hours per week
Work Environment:

The Food Service Manager will work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines, requiring strong organizational and time management skills. The position involves standing for extended periods, walking, and bending, crouching, and kneeling.
