METAL FABRICATION SPECIALIST

Job Bridge Global is a premier provider of custom metal solutions, serving various sectors including infrastructure and structural engineering. We are currently seeking a dedicated Metal Fabrication Specialist to join our dynamic team.

Key Responsibilities:

· Engage in the assembly and construction of large-scale metal structures and custom fabrications.

· Interpret technical drawings, specifications, and schematics to select the appropriate welding techniques.

· Fit, assemble, and weld metal components and structural elements.

· Utilize cutting, drilling, beveling, and grinding tools to prepare metal parts for welding.

· Position and align components and assemblies accurately before welding.

· Secure, hold, tack-weld, heat-bend, and bolt parts to achieve the desired configurations for welding.

· Operate hand and power tools commonly used in the welding industry, including grinders.

· Inspect workpieces for imperfections and utilize measuring tools and jigs for accuracy.

Qualifications:

· A minimum of 3 years of experience in MIG welding is required.

· Completion of a Welding Certificate or Diploma program is advantageous.

· Possession of a CWB weld ticket is preferred, or the ability to obtain one.

· Strong manual dexterity and attention to detail.

· Self-driven with the capability to work independently.

· Ability to thrive in a fast-paced work environment.

· Willingness to work overtime as needed.

· Proficient in welding materials ranging from 1/16" to 3/8" and capable of passing an internal welding assessment.

· A positive attitude and a commitment to quality workmanship.

· Effective communication skills.

· Dedication to safety and quality standards in the workplace.

· Must meet the physical demands of the role, including lifting up to 50 pounds regularly and performing various physical tasks.

· Ability to accurately read both imperial and metric measuring tools.

What We Provide:

Competitive hourly wage of $26.00

Permanent full-time employment

Standard work hours: Monday to Thursday from 7:00 AM to 4:30 PM and Friday from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM

Personal welding mask required; all other tools, equipment, and personal protective equipment will be provided.
