Position Overview

As a Beverage Retail Supervisor at CROWN CELLARS INC., you will play a crucial role in overseeing the daily operations of our liquor and wine store. This permanent position requires a commitment of 35 hours per week and proficiency in English.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage a team of staff members, including apprentices and design team personnel.
  • Delegate tasks to sales associates to ensure efficient store operations.
  • Recruit, train, and develop staff to enhance their skills and performance.
  • Manage inventory by ordering merchandise and authorizing returns.
  • Create and implement work schedules to optimize staff productivity.
  • Engage with customers to sell products and resolve any inquiries or complaints.
  • Prepare detailed reports on sales performance, inventory management, and personnel issues.
  • Maintain an organized inventory system and oversee cash management.
  • Administer payroll processes for staff members.
Work Environment

This role is set in a fast-paced retail environment, requiring strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively.

Qualifications
  • Education: Completion of secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: A minimum of 1 year to less than 2 years in a supervisory role within retail.
