Cardiology Technologist Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Cardiology Technologist to join our team at Surrey Memorial Hospital and Jim Pattison Outpatient Care & Surgery Centre in Surrey, B.C.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform Electro Cardiogram (ECG) testing, stress testing, holter and/or event monitor testing, and Ambulatory Blood Pressure (ABP) testing.
  • Explain procedures and answer patient questions in preparation for testing.
  • Scan and analyze ECG, stress, and holter monitor test strips, and summarize for interpretation by medical staff.
  • Enter patient test information into Meditech to provide Electronic Health Records database for client/patient files.
  • Maintain equipment by cleaning, lubricating, and replacing items as required, and complete requisitions for repair using established procedures.
Qualifications:
  • Completion of a recognized Cardiology Technology Program at the Diploma level.
  • Two years of recent related experience.
  • Canadian Society of Cardiology Technologists (CSCT) certified.
