Job Summary

At JJORTATION INC, we are seeking a skilled Truck Driver to join our team. As a Truck Driver, you will be responsible for safely operating a tractor-trailer and transporting goods and materials across various routes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Load and Unload Goods: Safely load and unload goods from the truck, ensuring that all cargo is properly secured and accounted for.
  • Transport Hazardous Materials: Transport hazardous materials, such as chemicals and fuels, in accordance with all relevant regulations and safety protocols.
  • Operate Heavy Equipment: Operate heavy equipment, such as forklifts and pallet jacks, to load and unload goods.
  • Perform Pre-Trip Inspections: Conduct pre-trip inspections on the truck and trailer to ensure that all equipment is in good working order.
  • Maintain Accurate Records: Maintain accurate records of cargo, hours of service, and fuel consumption.
  • Comply with Regulations: Comply with all relevant regulations and safety protocols, including those related to hours of service, weight limits, and hazardous materials.
Requirements
  • AZ Class License: Possess a valid AZ class license.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience as a truck driver.
  • Education: Other trades certificate or diploma.
Working Conditions

The ideal candidate will be able to work in a fast-paced environment and be able to lift up to 50 pounds. The work will involve sitting for long periods of time and will require the ability to work in a variety of weather conditions.
