Job Summary:

CIE_101 Beneva Inc. is seeking a skilled Route Claims Expert to join our team in Montreal. As a Route Claims Expert, you will be responsible for handling regular loss cases on Beneva and Unique routes, determining the circumstances, causes, and extent of the claims for both personal and commercial insurance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Investigate assigned claims by visiting the sites to gather necessary information and estimate damages
  • Coordinate activities of involved parties and make decisions on claim payments
  • Obtain quotes, verify invoices, and determine payable compensation
  • Identify potentially fraudulent or debt collection cases for appropriate transfer
  • Approve claim settlements within payment authority limits

Requirements:

  • DEC or AEC in insurance with a focus on claims settlement
  • Minimum 3 years of external claims expert experience
  • P.A.A. designation or in progress
  • Business insurance license
  • Intermediate English proficiency for communication and growth objectives
  • Availability for 24-hour claim service rotations
