Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Resident Experience Coordinator to join our team at Waters Edge Community. As a key member of our social services team, you will play a critical role in enhancing the lives of our residents and their families.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the resident move-in, transfer, and move-out process, ensuring a seamless and welcoming experience for our residents and their families.
  • Provide social services counseling services as required, utilizing your expertise to support the well-being of our residents.
  • Develop and implement individualized social work services and support groups to meet the unique needs of our residents and their families.
  • Collaborate with departmental leaders to provide coaching and direction to our social services team, ensuring exceptional service excellence and hospitality.
  • Respond to and address feedback from residents and families in a timely and satisfactory manner.
  • Provide reporting and analysis to leadership and quality committees, informing strategic decisions and initiatives.
Requirements
  • Registered Social Services Worker, as per provincial legislation.
  • Minimum of three years' experience in healthcare, social services, or a related sector.
  • Knowledge of the Long Term Care Act and Regulations is an asset.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills, with the ability to organize, plan, and delegate responsibilities.
