Culinary Professional

We are seeking a skilled Culinary Professional to join our team at SUWI RESTAURANT. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking complete meals or individual dishes and foods to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities- Food Preparation and Cooking: Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods, ensuring that all dishes are presented to the highest standards.
- Customer Service: Prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances, and ensure that all food is handled and presented in a safe and hygienic manner.
- Kitchen Management: Inspect kitchens and food service areas to ensure that they are clean and well-maintained, and train staff in preparation, cooking and handling of food.
- Inventory Management: Order supplies and equipment, and maintain inventory and records of food, supplies and equipment.
- Team Leadership: Supervise kitchen staff and helpers, and recruit and hire staff as needed.
- Event Planning: Organize buffets and banquets, and manage kitchen operations to ensure that all events are successful.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
- Work Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a kitchen environment.
- Language: Fluency in English.
- Work Hours: 35 to 40 hours per week.
Our kitchen is a fast-paced environment, and you will be required to work in a physically demanding role. You will also be required to work overtime as needed.
