Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled CP140 Field Services Representative to join our team at L3Harris Technologies. As a key member of our support team, you will be responsible for providing technical support to DND maintenance and operating units, facilitating and coordinating L-3 Harris activities, and performing specialized avionics upgrades and modifications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical support to DND maintenance and operating units, ensuring timely and effective resolution of technical issues.
  • Facilitate and coordinate L-3 Harris activities, including planning, execution, and monitoring of support tasks.
  • Perform specialized avionics upgrades and modifications, adhering to strict quality and safety standards.
  • Provide technical support to L-3 Harris Equipment Specialists, technicians, supply personnel, and engineers, ensuring seamless collaboration and communication.
  • Carry out other duties as required, contributing to the overall success of our support team.

Requirements:

  • Technologist diploma or equivalent training and experience, preferably in a military environment.
  • Previous experience in the maintenance and support of DND avionics, with a strong understanding of technical principles and procedures.
  • Familiarity with Canadian Air Force support infrastructure and processes, including safety protocols and regulations.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, demonstrating strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Knowledge of CP140 avionics, including systems, components, and maintenance procedures.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of ADAM/DRMIS, an asset in this role.
  • Knowledge of airworthiness regulations and aircraft modification process, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
  • Sufficient English language skills to read and interpret documents, including safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedures manuals.
  • French language skills, considered an asset in this role.
  • Ability to write routine and complex reports, complete required performance metrics, and communicate effectively in both written and verbal formats.
