Job Title: Front Desk Agent

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Front Desk Agent at our Hostel in Squamish, BC. As a Front Desk Agent, you will be the first point of contact for our guests and will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, managing the front desk, and ensuring a smooth and enjoyable stay for our guests.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide outstanding customer service to guests, addressing inquiries, concerns, and requests promptly and professionally.
  • Manage the front desk, including check-ins, check-outs, and ensuring accurate record-keeping and payment handling.
  • Suggest activities and recommendations to guests, with a focus on our activity partners.
  • Help generate positive reviews and direct bookings.
  • Maintain a well-organized and visually appealing merchandised display and reception area.
Requirements:
  • Fluent English (speaking and writing). Extra languages are a bonus.
  • Extensive experience in a customer service role in the accommodation/hospitality world.
  • Criminal Background Check.
  • Basic computer skills.
  • Living in or willing to relocate to Squamish, BC – The Adventure Capital of Canada.
  • Valid work permit or Canadian citizen.
  • Valid Driver's license and vehicle is a bonus.
