Position Summary:
We are seeking a Livestock Specialist to join our team. The role is based in our Watertown, WI office.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive care and assist in semen collection for Alta's proven bulls and young sires.
- Be an integral part of the semen collection team, focusing on optimizing both semen quality and quantity while increasing the number of sires.
Qualifications:
- A degree in Animal or Dairy Science is advantageous.
- Proficient in basic equipment and facility maintenance or repair.
- Comfortable using Microsoft Office for effective communication and documentation.
- Willingness to work rotational weekends and holidays.
Employment Type:
Permanent position offering a casual dress code, dental care, disability insurance, on-site parking, and an 8-hour day shift.
