About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Forklift Operator to join our team at Fenix Outdoor's Balzac warehouse. As a key member of our logistics team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient receipt, storage, and distribution of our premium outdoor products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate forklifts to transport products to different locations within the facility, ensuring safe and efficient movement of inventory.
  • Inspect machinery and equipment to ensure compliance with safety policies and procedures.
  • Collaborate with the warehouse team to optimize inventory storage and retrieval processes, minimizing delays and maximizing productivity.
  • Participate in regular inventory counts and cycle counts to maintain accurate inventory levels.
  • Assist in maintaining a safe and organized work environment, adhering to company standards and regulations.
Requirements
  • Certification in forklift operation (or willingness to obtain certification).
  • Excellent attention to detail, with a focus on safety and quality.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with frequent sitting, standing, walking, and lifting of up to 50 lbs.
  • Experience with RF scanners and hand-held technology.
  • Preferred: prior experience operating equipment or handling materials in a warehouse setting.
