In this role, you will play a vital part in developing and delivering engaging training programs that enhance the skills and knowledge of our employees. You will work closely with various departments to identify learning needs and design customized solutions that align with Bechtel's strategic objectives.
Responsibilities:- Collaborate with stakeholders across different departments to understand their training requirements and develop effective learning strategies.
- Design, develop, and deliver a wide range of training programs, including classroom sessions, e-learning modules, and on-the-job training.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs through assessments, feedback surveys, and performance metrics.
- Stay abreast of industry best practices and emerging trends in learning and development.
- Manage the learning management system (LMS) and ensure its efficient operation.
We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Learning and Development Specialist with a passion for creating impactful training experiences. The ideal candidate will possess:
- A Bachelor's degree in Education, Instructional Design, or a related field is preferred; however, extensive relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
- 10-13 years of proven experience in learning and development within a complex organization, or 14-17 years of experience if a degree is not held.
- A deep understanding of various training methodologies, models, and programs.
- Experience working in the engineering/construction industry is highly beneficial.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
