About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Restaurant Supervisor to join our team at Isaan Der-Thai Kitchen & Bar. As a key member of our kitchen team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our food service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Management
    • Supervise and coordinate the activities of kitchen staff to ensure efficient food preparation and service.
    • Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures to maintain a high level of quality and customer satisfaction.
  • Inventory and Supply Management
    • Estimate ingredient and supply requirements for meal preparation and ensure timely ordering and receipt of supplies.
    • Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage to inform inventory management decisions.
  • Customer Service and Quality Control
    • Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards and address customer complaints or concerns in a professional manner.
    • Work with the kitchen team to maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment that meets health and safety regulations.
  • Administrative Tasks
    • Prepare budgets and cost estimates for kitchen operations and supplies.
    • Establish work schedules and ensure that staff are aware of their duties and responsibilities.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience
    • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a restaurant or food service management role.
  • Language and Work Environment
    • Fluency in English is required.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure.
  • Support for Newcomers and Refugees
    • Participation in a government or community program or initiative that supports newcomers and/or refugees.
    • Assistance with immediate settlement needs of newcomers and/or refugees.
