Food Service Team Lead

We are seeking a skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Dairy Queen Peace River. As a key member of our food service team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of food and service to our customers.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise and coordinate the activities of food service staff, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
- Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures to maintain a clean and safe working environment.
- Hire and manage food service staff, providing guidance and support to ensure they meet our high standards.
- Monitor and maintain quality control standards, ensuring that all food and service meet our expectations.
- Address customer complaints and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
- Supervise and check the assembly of trays and delivery of food trolleys to ensure timely and efficient service.
This is a fast-paced environment that requires the ability to work under pressure and maintain a high level of productivity. The successful candidate will be able to stand for extended periods and work in a physically demanding environment.
Requirements- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service environment.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Ability to work in a team environment and provide guidance and support to staff.
- Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends.
