Position Overview: We are in search of an IoT Solution Specialist who will play a pivotal role in expanding our sales and support efforts within the IoT sector. This position involves driving IoT solutions through various sales channels and functions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the sales execution of IoT solutions within your designated territory, proactively cultivating essential relationships and expanding your own client portfolio.
- Enhance Rogers' market presence by focusing on transformative IoT solutions that align with and advance clients' core business goals.
- Develop and implement IoT sales strategies to meet organizational expectations.
- Prospect new clients while nurturing existing Rogers accounts to build a robust Book of Business.
- Serve as the regional authority on pre-packaged solutions, imparting critical knowledge to sales teams.
- Design and deliver complex IoT solutions as necessary.
- Collaborate with Account Executives to drive key IoT sales funnel activities, qualifying opportunities and facilitating closures.
- Conduct regular educational sessions for IoT Channels and sales personnel, including Direct Account Executives, Inside Sales, and Indirect Partners.
- Maintain an organized monthly, quarterly, and annual sales funnel.
- Ensure that teams are addressing the right IoT opportunities and resolving any regional conflicts or assignments.
- Work alongside Product, Partners, and Operations to streamline the implementation process of IoT Solutions.
- Guide field sales teams to achieve IoT quotas and objectives by promoting predefined solutions and assisting in closing sales when necessary.
Qualifications:
- 3-5 years of experience in enterprise sales.
- Specific experience in M2M/IoT sales is preferred.
- Proven track record of success in transformational solutions and territory growth.
- Client-focused mindset with a strong ability to identify and address business challenges.
- Experience engaging with C-level executives.
- Exceptional collaboration skills and a strong closing ability.
- Self-motivated with the capability to lead teams toward achieving objectives.
- Proficient in PowerPoint and Excel.
- A university degree or equivalent experience.
- Bilingual proficiency is an asset.
