We are seeking a visionary educational leader to join our team as Vice Principal of Raft River Elementary, Vavenby, and Blue River. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a rapidly growing district with a strong commitment to equity and excellence for all learners.
About the RoleThe successful candidate will provide administrative support to the three schools, with 70% of their time dedicated to administrative tasks and 30% providing general support and prep coverage. As a member of our administrative team, you will be a leader who values equity and excellence for all learners, with a strong commitment to student achievement and inclusive learning environments.
Responsibilities- Guide the development and implementation of shared values, vision, and mission to support engagement, learning, and success for all learners.
- Lead the learning community in establishing a continuum of learning, engaging in ongoing and targeted conversations regarding the progression of learning.
- Collaborate with staff, students, parents, and the community to build positive, effective working relationships and create a culture and climate that supports student and adult learning.
- Support the Principal in meeting all aspects of Board policy and district procedures, particularly in the area of instructional leadership.
We are seeking a candidate with a Master degree in educational leadership or a related field, with a minimum of five years of successful teaching experience and a proven record of successful educational leadership experiences. The ideal candidate will be a visionary leader who is passionate about student learning, with excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
