We are seeking an experienced and visionary educational leader to join our team as a Vice-Principal at Raft River Elementary, Vavenby, and Blue River. As a member of our administrative team, you will play a key role in supporting student achievement and success in our schools.
Key Responsibilities- **Ethical Leadership**: Guide the development and implementation of shared values, vision, and mission to support engagement, learning, and success for all learners.
- **Instructional Leadership**: Lead the learning process, engage in ongoing conversations regarding the progression of learning, and focus professional learning and development on addressing the needs of the population.
- **Relational Leadership**: Demonstrate self-awareness and personal qualities that support positive relationships and build cultures of integrity.
- **Organizational Leadership**: Intentionally and strategically strengthen the school's capacity to support student learning and development.
- A Master of Education degree or near completion of such degree.
- A valid BC Teaching Certificate.
- A minimum of five years of successful teaching experience.
- A proven record of successful educational leadership experiences.
- The ability to travel between worksites.
- The ability to communicate in French is an asset, not a prerequisite.
