Job Title: Logistics Supervisor

V&C Logistics Inc. is seeking a skilled Logistics Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our logistics operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Co-ordination and Planning: Co-ordinate activities with other work units or departments to ensure efficient logistics operations.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Prepare and submit reports to management on logistics operations, including inventory levels, shipping and receiving, and other key metrics.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Ensure the smooth operation of computer equipment and machinery, and perform routine maintenance tasks as needed.
  • Problem-Solving and Technical Advice: Resolve work problems, provide technical advice, and recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality.
  • Staff Training and Development: Arrange training for staff to ensure they have the necessary skills to perform their duties effectively.
  • Work Scheduling and Procedures: Establish work schedules and procedures to ensure efficient use of resources.
  • Inventory Management: Organize and maintain inventory levels to ensure that stock is properly managed.
  • Logistics Planning: Plan, organize, and oversee the operational logistics of the organization.
Requirements:
  • Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a logistics or supply chain role.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 35 hours per week.
