Your Role

We are seeking a Manager specializing in accounting and taxation related to R&D to join our SR&ED team and take on the following responsibilities:

  1. Guide the multidisciplinary team engaged in specialty tax services concerning government incentives (SR&ED, IDMTC, and other programs).
  2. Prepare, assist, or review documentation and analyses necessary for tax credit claim submissions.
  3. Engage with clients, financial managers, and technical directors to aid in the assessment and research of eligible activities.
  4. Compile, review, or assist in the preparation of expenses or other accounting tasks associated with tax credit claims.
  5. Facilitate staff training and contribute to the professional growth of your team.

Your Qualifications

  1. You have achieved your CPA designation along with the In-Depth Tax Program and/or a Master's in Tax.
  2. You bring a minimum of 5 years of tax experience, including work with SR&ED and government incentives.
  3. You possess a comprehensive understanding of relevant tax legislation and incentives.
  4. You are proficient in tax return software (TaxPrep).
  5. You are bilingual in French and English.
  6. You value teamwork, client service, and meticulous quality in your work.

Compensation Package: Competitive annual salary of $89,000.
