We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Law Firm Administrator to join our team at GPAC. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for providing administrative support to our law firm clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Payroll Processing: Ensure accurate and timely processing of payroll for our clients.
- Full Cycle Accounting: Manage all aspects of accounting, including financial reporting and compliance.
- File Closing: Coordinate the closing of client files, ensuring all necessary documents are completed and filed.
- Legal Compliance: Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant laws and regulations, ensuring our clients are in compliance.
- Records Maintenance: Oversee the maintenance of accurate and up-to-date records for our clients.
- Trust Accounting: Manage trust accounts, ensuring accurate and timely processing of client funds.
- Financial Reporting: Provide regular financial reporting to our clients, ensuring transparency and accuracy.
- Tax Reporting: Ensure accurate and timely tax reporting for our clients.
- Supervision of AP/AR Processes and Staff: Supervise and manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
- Year-End Accounting Processing: Coordinate year-end accounting processing, ensuring all necessary documents are completed and filed.
- Benefits Administration: Manage benefits administration, ensuring accurate and timely processing of benefits for our clients.
- Auditing of Payroll and Processes: Conduct regular audits of payroll and processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Resolution of Payroll Issues or Discrepancies: Resolve any payroll issues or discrepancies, ensuring timely and accurate processing.
- Strong Communication Skills: Provide excellent communication skills, ensuring clear and concise communication with our clients and staff.
- Vendor Management: Manage vendor relationships, ensuring accurate and timely processing of vendor invoices.
Qualifications:
- 3+ Years of Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience in a law office setting.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business administration, or related field.
- Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) Designation: Preferred certification as a Certified Payroll Professional (CPP).
- Previous Experience: Previous experience in payroll processing and management, preferably in a legal or regulated industry.
- Knowledge of Payroll Laws and Regulations: In-depth knowledge of payroll laws, regulations, and best practices.
- Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with keen attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Payroll Software and Microsoft Excel: Proficiency in payroll software and Microsoft Excel.
- Proficiency in Leap: Proficiency in Leap.
- Exceptional Communication Skills: Exceptional communication skills, with ability to communicate effectively with clients and staff.
