Lecturer in Human Physiology and Anatomy

The Department of Biological Sciences at Thompson Rivers University is in search of a qualified Human Physiologist and/or Anatomist to facilitate educational sessions in Anatomy and Physiology for students pursuing careers in Nursing, Respiratory Therapy, and other allied health disciplines.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct in-person lectures for both segments of the Anatomy and Physiology course (Biol 1592)
- Evaluate and grade examinations and assignments
- Engage with students through various channels, including face-to-face consultations and online platforms
Opportunities for additional instructional responsibilities in laboratory settings are available for candidates interested in expanding their workload.
Note: The hiring process for this role is contingent upon final budgetary approval.
Required Qualifications- Relevant academic background in Physiology, Medical Sciences, Rehabilitation Sciences, Human Health Sciences, or Human Pathophysiology
- Preferably holds a PhD in Physiology or a closely related field
- Proven track record of teaching at the university level
