Job Title: Social Work Lecturer

Thompson Rivers University is seeking a qualified Social Work Lecturer to teach in our School of Social Work and Human Service. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching and developing curriculum in our Social Work program.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Teach and develop curriculum in Social Work courses
  • Develop and implement assessment and evaluation strategies
  • Provide academic advising and support to students
  • Contribute to the development of the Social Work program
Requirements:
  • Master's degree in Social Work or related field
  • Teaching experience in post-secondary education
  • Experience in curriculum development and implementation
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Doctoral degree in Social Work or related field
  • Experience in teaching and developing curriculum in Social Work
  • Experience in academic administration
