Design Researcher Opportunity at Design Centered Co.

We are seeking a talented UX Researcher to join our team at Design Centered Co., a boutique design and innovation consulting firm. As a UX Researcher, you will play a key role in helping our clients drive change and deliver value using customer insights.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a UX Researcher to join our team and contribute to the success of our clients. You will be responsible for conducting primary and secondary research, translating research insights into actionable recommendations, and collaborating with our design team to deliver impactful solutions.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct primary and secondary research to inform design decisions
  • Translate research insights into actionable recommendations for Service Design, UX, and UI design
  • Collaborate with our design team to deliver impactful solutions
  • Develop and maintain a strong understanding of accessibility and usability principles
  • Develop and maintain a portfolio of past work experience and deliverables
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in UX research
Requirements
  • 3-5 years of consistent professional experience in the design field
  • At least 2 years of experience conducting primary and secondary UX research
  • Strong understanding of accessibility and usability principles
  • Portfolio demonstrating past work experience and deliverables
  • Valid work permit to work in Canada (if not a Citizen or Permanent Resident)
  • Prior experience with the Canadian Federal Government (optional)
