Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct primary and secondary UX research to inform design decisions.
  • Translate research insights into actionable recommendations for Service Design, UX, and UI design.
  • Develop a strong understanding of accessibility and usability principles and apply them in research and design.
  • Maintain a portfolio showcasing past work experience and deliverables, including research plans, reports, service blueprints, and more.
  • Deliver value across the design lifecycle, from primary research to prototyping and UI design.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest design and collaboration tools, such as Figma, Mockflow, and Miro.
  • Possess a valid work permit to work in Canada, if not a Citizen or Permanent Resident.
  • Prior experience working with the Canadian Federal Government is an asset.
  • Active security clearance to work for the Canadian Federal Government is a plus.
  • Bilingualism in French and English is a valuable asset.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of consistent professional experience in the design field.
  • At least 2 years of experience conducting primary and secondary UX research.
  • A degree and/or professional certification in Research, Service Design, User Experience Design, or equivalent professional work experience.
