Airline Ramp Team Leader

Position Overview:
As a key member of our ground operations team, you will oversee the safe and efficient movement of aircraft to and from the gate. Your role is vital in ensuring a seamless travel experience for passengers and maintaining the operational flow of our services.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Direct the arrival and departure of aircraft at the terminal.
2. Manage the transportation, loading, and unloading of passenger luggage, cargo, and mail.
3. Ensure the cleanliness of aircraft cabins between flights and replenish necessary supplies.
4. Operate heavy machinery for luggage and cargo handling, including towing aircraft and servicing water and lavatory systems.
5. Maintain punctuality and adhere to safety protocols at all times.
Qualifications:
1. Minimum age of 18 years with a high school diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience.
2. Valid driver's license with a clean driving history.
3. Ability to pass a drug screening and secure airport security clearance, which involves a comprehensive background check covering employment history, criminal records, and residency.
For applicants in specific locations, proof of full vaccination against COVID-19 with a CDC-recognized vaccine is mandatory.
Physical Demands:
1. Regularly lift items weighing up to 70 pounds (32 kg).
2. Navigate heavy objects up and down jetway stairs.
3. Frequently climb, bend, kneel, crawl, and stoop for extended periods.
4. Work outdoors in various weather conditions and in proximity to aircraft and machinery noise.
Our operations run 24/7, requiring flexibility to work different shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
